——have sb. doing 意为“让某人做某事”，宾语是动作的执行者；have sb.done 意为“让某人遇到某情况或被…”，宾语是动作的承受者。

Cathy was just sitting in the front of her car when she saw her friend Mary standing in front of her car.
凯茜正好坐在车子的前座看到了站在车子前面的朋友玛丽。

——in the front of指内部的“前部”，而in front of指位置“在…的前面”。
