exam，test

exam通常指正式的“考试”，如期终考试，入学考试等。
test指“测验、考查、小考”，也可指正规的考试或考查。

She is going to have a math exam.她要参加一次数学考试。
Test the students before the class begins.课前先测试学生。

 If you take the test,you’d better pass the test and you mustn’t fail in the exam.
如果你参加考试，最好能及格，一定不要名落孙山。
